Torrontés is Argentina’s signature white wine grape, known for its intense floral aromatics and crisp, dry finish. While it smells sweet—often like rose petals, jasmine, and honeysuckle—it is typically made in a bone-dry style, earning it the nickname "the liar wine". Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first woman winemaker and “Queen of Torrontes” has crafted this unique expression from very mature, late-harvested, raisin-like grapes that are then aged in new French Oak barrels. Expect layers of apricot, honey, and tropical fruits with floral undertones. This delivers a perfect balance between vibrant acidity and natural sweetness.
